New Years Day - January 1st

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - usually mid January - Great weekend to go skiing!

Washington's Birthday - usually mid February - Another Great Ski weekend!

Good Friday - Usually in March - Spring Ski? FYI - All world Banks are closed, need to be out of all Forex trades by the close of Thursday...

Memorial Day - In late May 

Independence Day - July 4th

Labor Day - in early September 

Columbus Day - in October, Banks closed, Bond Market Closed, NYSE, NASDAQ - OPEN!   

Thanksgiving Day - Late November (Good trading through Wednesday, Take Friday off 1/2 day closes at 1 pm

Christmas - December 25th (Christmas week ok to trade but take Christmas eve off it's a 1/2 day closes at 1pm - Option - Can look to stay away from the market "Vacation" from December 8th - January 5th... 

Notes - stay away from the Forex market Christmas week and New Years Week.

Expect lower volume during the month of August - usually the least volume is during the 3rd and 4th week of August - Ok to trade but stick with the mornings before 11:15 EST.  Actually this is a great time for a summer vacation!
