Short on shorts today, I found myself doing something that I usually never do and that is adding to my list of stocks during lunch time. I knew the market was due to come rolling in short, but I only started the day with two shorts JCP and ABX. I was already short ABX with no add in site and my broker did not have the shorts to short JCP so I went on the hunt and located TOL as a possible short Idea. TOL triggered a 15 minute sell at the declining 20 ma and most important it had relative weakness to the market (QQQ) as the market rolled late this afternoon. TOL rolled over nicely with the Q's hitting target 1 rather painlessly and I held into the close of the day with a full risk unit of profit and making a 1 risk unit day for TraderHank 🙂
